This is my husband's recipe for granola.

SERVES 10 -12 (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 250°F.

    Mix together oats, nuts, wheat germ, brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. In a small bowl mix together honey, vanilla and oil. Pour the honey mixture into the dry mixture and combine thoroughly. Spread the mixture into a large baking dish (like a lasagna or jelly roll pan) thinly so that it barely covers the dish. Bake at 250 F for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and add raisins.
