A delicious filling that is soft without being too gooey or runny.

SERVES 24 , 24 tarts (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 450°F Place raisins in small dish, cover with boiling water. Allow to soak until edges start to become white. Drain.

    Cream margarine and sugar. Add vanilla, syrup, salt, and lemon juice. Add eggs. Mix thoroughly.

    Place tart shells on baking sheet. Distribute raisins evenly amongst tart shells. Pour prepared mixture into shells, filling 2/3.

    Bake at 425F for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 325F and bake for an additional 12-18 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
