Brown Rice

This is a great side for chicken or beef...not to mention quick and easy and I generally have all of the ingredients on hand!!

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef consomme

  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can French onion soup
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix the soups and Rice and pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  2. 2
    Drop pats of butter on top of the soup and rice.
  3. 3
    Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
