Blueberries 'n Cheese Coffeecake

I made this when I threw a bridal shower for a friend. I served brunch and this was a big hit!

SERVES 18 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. 2
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. 3
    In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. 4
    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, mix well after each addition.
  5. 5
    In a separate bowl, toss blueberries with remaining flour. Fold berries into batter with cream cheese and lemon peel.

    Pour into greased and floured 13x9 baking pan.

    Combine sugar, flour, and peel; cut in butter until mixture looks like small crumbs.

    Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Cool.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
