Anybody remember this???

Hi There

I thought it best to post this question in the Australian forum.

I remember making this slice when I was quite young.

It had a Cadbury peppermint chocolate & Cream cheese in it.

Thats all I can remember but do know it was delicious!!!

I think it may have been on one of those recipe cards around at the time that was in a plastic box.

Jog anyones memory????

Would really love to make it again.

I have those card Di, cant remember the recipe but I will look tonight for you, also have a cadbury chocolate cookbook old as the hills, will check that also.

Can u tweak this one?

Something along these lines?
Chocolate Peppermint Squares
Base:
1 cup crushed cornflakes
2/3 cup coconut
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 oz margarine.
Melt marg and pour over other ingredients. Mix well and press into greased 8” square or 7x11” tin.
Filling:
8 oz cream cheese
1/3 cup caster sugar
4 oz tin reduced cream
2 or 3 drops peppermint essence
Topping:
Chocolate Icing or
4 oz chocolate melted
1 oz copha melted
Beat cheese till smooth. Gradually add sugar, beat well. Blend in reduced cream and essence and spread over crumb base. Refrigerate till firm. Spread with chocolate icing or chocolate. Refrigerate again till firm. Cut into squares.

I did find a cheesecake slice, but it didnt have pepermint chocolate, just essence, I also found same as mickey and also found several other's using cream cheese, but not the peppermint chocolate, just dark cooking chocolate.
Was the recipe more of a cheesecake that may help!

Hi and thanks everyone!

I dont think any of these is what I use to make, though! gosh I cant believe how bad my memory can be at times! lol

I will see my sister next week and Ive got an inkling of a feeling I may have originally got it from her.

Will let you all know and If I do find it will post the recipe and a pic too when I make it.
