Welcome to the 1~2~3 Hits Game! My name is Lori aka
LARavenscroft and I am your host for this game.
-------------------------------------Rules of the Game

This game is open to all chefs. Just make sure you have a minimum of
10 recipes of your own that have only
1, 2, or 3 reviews. If you don't yet have enough recipes, it is suggested that you start out by playing
Newest Zaar Tag, which is a great way to build up your review count.

Go to the last page & see which chef is it. Pick one of their recipes with 1, 2 or 3 starred reviews. Post in the thread what you'd like to make. It is best to post in the following format:
_________LARavenscroft tags Recipe #xxxxxx by (name of chef)
_________LARavenscroft is up - Book #xxxxxx

Now you are IT. Then the next chef to tag will select one of your Hit Wonders.

Prepare your tagged recipe and post your review within 2 weeks. Remember to post the date of your tag too.
A Few Hints and Tips:

I'll check your tag to make sure it is valid. If your tag is not a valid tag then I will ask you to retag a different recipe. You will have a choice to withdraw your tag if you have not been tagged since your mistag.

If the mistake is not caught before follow-up tags occur, then you are responsible for a retag and the game keeps moving forward. Chefs are not required to wait for you to decide so the game can keep moving.

Substitute recipes are allowed. Just post in the thread
before your due date what recipe you'd like to make instead.

Two-week extensions are given if you post in the thread you need more time before the initial due date. If after that two weeks you need additional time, just contact me.

If you miss a deadline, about one week past your due date I'll send a zmail reminder. If you have a tag posted on the list of "Way Overdue Tags", it must be cleared by making & reviewing the recipe before you can play again. If you try tagging before meeting your old commitments, you will hear from the host and your new tags will not be considered valid.

If a chef is IT for 24 hours then you are open to tag any recipe in their collection. This rule will help since we all play the game so often that we find we are running out of recipes to make of other chefs - this will open up their whole cookbook to us after 24 hours.

Please do not ever take this as a negative thing - just means your recipes are so popular that we need to go back and find oldies but goodies or new ones to try that have not been reviewed.

Remember to have fun and ask questions. I'm here to help and of course chat with you along the way.
