Magazine Swap - Partners Posted - Let's go!!!

YAY!!! The first Zaar Magazine Swap is underway! Pull up your favorite comfy chair and let's start swappin' some mags. Whether your mags are new or "gently used" - as long as they are in good condition and in good taste, feel free to swap them! You can swap your food and wine mags, art or quilting mags, travel or auto mags...the list of cool mags in endless. We'll get you paired up with a partner of the same interest, if possible.

Swap Details and Deadlines:

*Sign up dates are April 1st through April 7th
**Partners Announced on April 9th
***Deadline to ship packages is April 23rd

Budget - can be as little as $10 or as much as $20 (depending on whether the mags you swap are new or used). This does not include shipping costs. And remember...international partners do not get the same "media" rate that those in the U.S. do and, therefore, shipping could be quite expensive for heavy magazines.

This swap is open to all Zaar members who are in good standing in swaps.

Here’s what you do to sign up: (But before you sign up...Please read the Swap Policies.)

Then,

1. Copy the questionnaire below
2. Paste it into a new zmail (along with your answers) and zmail to me at Zaar or copy and paste into a new email, answer all of the questions, and send the email to: magswapAThotmail.com (replace AT with @).
3. Then, watch Page 1 of this thread for your name to appear on the swappers list. Your name should appear here in 24 to 48 hours. If your name does not appear after that time, please post a note to me in this thread.

**Note** Please put "Magazine Swap" in the subject line
of your zmail or email...and...Please do not post answers in this thread.

Questionnaire:
1. Have you done a Zaar swap before?
2. What is your Zaar chef name and member number?
3. Do you have a premium membership?
4. What is your real name, state/country, and email address?
5. Please list any former swap partners you’ve had on Zaar.
6. Please list your top 3 favorite magazine themes (for example – 1. food, 2.travel, and 3. scrap-booking)
7. Do you wish for magazines of a certain U.S. region? If so, where?
8. Are you willing to have an international partner? If so, are you interested in any particular country/region?
9. Are you interested in swapping with more than one partner?
10. Are you likely to put in extra little goodies for your partner or stick to mags only?

Once swap partners have been posted…

1. At least one of each partnership is expected to post in this thread that you are in contact with each other.
2. Ship on or before the deadline of April 23rd. No exceptions under the new swap policies.
3. Post here when you have shipped your partner’s package.
4. Post here when you have received your package.

- Swap Complete
- SSL - Slow swapper list (see notes below)

SSL - This may be from sending a package late or not reporting in the thread. One time on the list is intended to be a warning and in NO way labels the swapper "bad". Two times within 6 months moves the swapper to a probation list.
