We do have a pantry, not one we can walk into, but it works. We have a similar one in the mud room. This first view, the pantry is on the left. (the two doors, one over top of the other) This also shows we do have a fire extinguisher! Next to the "pantry" is 2' of the 6' of counter space, with cabinets above and below, then the refrigerator, the "spice rack/coffee center" is on the adjacent wall, then there is the "back hall" a 5'x3' space where the doors to the bathroom, mudroom, and library are. There are two shelves above these doors, for more storage of bigger items not used on a daily basis.
You can see the edges of the sink area and the kitchen table in the foreground, and the curtain on the back door on the left.
These next two are showing the pantry opened.
This is the "back hall" showing the spice rack/coffee center, the storage above the doorways, and giving a better "map" of the area.

Wow! wonderful pictures! you all are so awesome to open your kitchens to all of us. . . as well as your pantries. I love seeing all of them ... it is so much fun peeking in to see where all the great cooks are making the wonderful recipes I've saved here.
Faith, Rubberducky and Nan will be so happy to see this thread still alive and rolling. Keep'm coming.
I'm gonna go catch some
Love to all. ~V

No underwear, but my walk in pantry - not overly attractive, but it is INSIDE an old reinforced concrete wine vat!! We inherited 4 with this house!!
I dry all my herbs and lavender in a special airing room & then hang them up in there and also store my preserves, oils, vinegars & jams etc etc......!! It's dark and always cool, so perfect for storage.

I love seeing the pantries! Zipadedoda, your kitchen is lovely - the wall color is the same as my study. Great warm color.
Rubber Ducky, this thread is so addicting, I think I would still be fascinated at page 3058
Sweetiebarbara, your pantry is so organized with all those pull outs!
French Tart, I can just smell the drying lavendar, etc. It's so "French". Wonderful.
NoraMarie - what a great place for your photography. Mine is my dining room, and it always looks a mess because of it.

Sweetie Barbara, I love the way you have used every inch of space in your pantry area - it's wonderful!
Thanks PanNan - I had LOADS of lavender from last year's harvest, but I gave lots of it away, wrapped up in tissue paper with attached recipes, for Christmas gifts! And, I made quite a lot of lavender bags, pot pourrie & lavender sugar too!!

Oh my! What an incredible amount of space you have, and how clever to use the old sink. Gosh, space for laundry, ironing, AND photography. The "Harvest Gold" dryer brought back a lot of old memories. Thanks for posting.

Love my pantry. The walls are off white but in the photo they look dirty. The floor is light beige but there it looks dark.It was gloomy out when I took the photos

I would love to have a pantry like that. So far my food is stored just in the cupboards and some in the built in closets. I have been itching to buy one of those free standing pantries to put down stairs.
