Every year we have a live cooking question and answer chat in our chat room for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. New chefs and experienced chefs alike sometimes run into problems with their holiday meals and need instant help in order to make their feast a success. We at Recipezaar like to be THE online place to go for live help access.
What is the Thanksgiving Help Line?
Knowledgeable volunteers sign up for time slots so that there is always someone there for people that might need quick answers to cooking questions, offer recipe suggestions or just to chat and have a good time.
What are volunteer Hosts responsible for doing?
You will help others just by sitting in the chat room during your scheduled time (which you get to chose) and answer questions about their first big holiday meal or help someone wanting suggestions for something special this year.
Do you have to have special expertise?
You don’t have to be a professional chef to help others. Use your experience and knowledge of cooking and of Recipezaar to answer questions or to point them in the right direction by linking to pages and recipes on Recipezaar.
