I would like to try out some new casserole/hotdish recipes, but I am only looking for main dish casseroles. I make tons and tons of Italian type casseroles so I am not looking for any Italian style. I am also not all that interested in Mexican style casseroles, as I also already make a lot of those. I am looking for tasty new things to try, not more of the same sort of thing I make already.
I have been searching, but it is hard wading through the thousands of casseroles on this site, even trying to narrow things down using the sifter.
I would love to hear what your favorite casseroles are - whether they are your own posted recipes or something you have tried that someone else has shared.
Any type of meat is fine, and most any veggie. Spicy is fine, mild is fine.

Thank you for all the suggestions so far, several of the suggestions sound like things I might enjoy serving. I was shocked yesterday when my daughter announced she is sick of "chicken casserole" since I don't repeat the same things all that often, although I will try similar dishes. It seems that even though I have been using various recipes, including favorites, I need to add a few new ones to the bunch that taste nothing at all like what I normally serve.
Keep the ideas coming! Thank you all so much.

I like cabbage rolls but they tend to be time consuming -- this is another idea, not really Italian but uses pasta:
