Thank you **Jubes** !!!another lovely banner!!!
frequently! particularly in the Summer, when we have lots of Sweet Banana and Hot Hungarian Yellow Wax peppers.
He usually serves this with his
Burritos... Simple, Plain, Easy . First Michael "defangs" the peppers, by removing the hot seeds and membranes. First he makes a slit in the pepper.
Then he removes the seeds,
rinses them,
and puts them in a pan to simmer.
This also helps to get rid of the heat of the peppers. After they are cool enough to handle, Michael stuffs them with Monteray Jack cheese.
Michael beats the eggs (2 whole eggs and 2 whites) to make a batter, pours it in the buttered pan, and when it starts to firm up, he adds a cheese filled chili.
As the batter further firms up, he flips it over the pepper.
When all the peppers are done, he puts them on microwavable dishes, tops them with with sour cream
and grated Mozzarella cheese.
He microwaves for about a minute, and they are ready to serve.

Great demo, Barbara! So detailed and looks easy to prepare. It's also nice to see having DH help out in the kitchen.

I'd be lucky if I get my DH help out in the kitchen. He usually stays away and if he does check out what I'm doing, it's to see if he can have any. His usual parting words before he leaves me alone, "You're gonna clean up the kitchen after you cook, right?" One time I gave him some of my tags and he made others instead. But he's so cute, I always forgive him

-his need to eat is greater than mine
-i make a huge mess when I cook and you never know when it will be done
-he likes to cook
-I tell him how much I appreciate him... continuously
-he enjoys it
oh! I said that already
-I just asked Michael why he is the cook in the house, he said, "Because I like to cook, and you don't (the daily stuff), and I cook simple things!"

Yeah errr.. me too according to him.
He's a bit OC. The mere fact that he sees stuff around me while I'm mixing (like ingredients) is considered "messy" to him.
He's also not into cooking, so lucky you!
