Thank you **Jubes** !!!another lovely banner!!!

frequently! particularly in the Summer, when we have lots of Sweet Banana and Hot Hungarian Yellow Wax peppers.

Photobucket

He usually serves this with his Burritos... Simple, Plain, Easy. First Michael "defangs" the peppers, by removing the hot seeds and membranes. First he makes a slit in the pepper.

Photobucket

Then he removes the seeds,

Photobucket

rinses them,

Photobucket

and puts them in a pan to simmer.

Photobucket

This also helps to get rid of the heat of the peppers. After they are cool enough to handle, Michael stuffs them with Monteray Jack cheese.

Photobucket

Michael beats the eggs (2 whole eggs and 2 whites) to make a batter, pours it in the buttered pan, and when it starts to firm up, he adds a cheese filled chili.

Photobucket

As the batter further firms up, he flips it over the pepper.

Photobucket

When all the peppers are done, he puts them on microwavable dishes, tops them with with sour cream

Photobucket

and grated Mozzarella cheese.

Photobucket

He microwaves for about a minute, and they are ready to serve.

Great demo, Barbara! So detailed and looks easy to prepare. It's also nice to see having DH help out in the kitchen. icon_smile.gif

Thanks! I am very fortunate. I help him out in the kitchen. I do PAC, parties, holidays, and fancy stuff... Michael is the day to day cook. icon_cool.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I'd be lucky if I get my DH help out in the kitchen. He usually stays away and if he does check out what I'm doing, it's to see if he can have any. His usual parting words before he leaves me alone, "You're gonna clean up the kitchen after you cook, right?" One time I gave him some of my tags and he made others instead. But he's so cute, I always forgive him icon_wink.gif

Yeah errr.. me too according to him. icon_redface.gif
He's a bit OC. The mere fact that he sees stuff around me while I'm mixing (like ingredients) is considered "messy" to him. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_razz.gif
He's also not into cooking, so lucky you! icon_smile.gif
