For Cuistot's Mexican Lasagna #292513

I am new to the Photo Forum. Please advise if I need to change any parameters. Editing welcome.

I am posting photos I took of Cuistot's Mexican Lasagna #292513 here because I had a kitchen emergency and had to substitute applewood-smoked swiss cheese for the top shredded cheddar cheese (it was delicious anyway). I'll let Cuistot decide if she wants to use any of these. As an empty nester, I chose to split the recipe into 3 pans, one of which satisfied DH and me. I thought it might be helpful to others to see how the recipe translated to the different pan sizes. The recipe could have been split between the two 1-and-1/2-quart disposable casserole pans. (For my third pan, I used an 8-inch oven-ready skillet.)

Kate and I hope we continue to see more photos from you. I really like your first photo with the black pan outlining the lasagne and the vivid blue background corners. very striking. It is also neat to see a plated version where you can see the lovely texture taken as a side view. Perhaps when you eat one of the others you can add a plated photo!!!!!

I see that you use PhotoBucket, so when choosing the right link for message boards, always use the last window: IMG. Click on it--"copied" and paste that one...should auto re-size for Forums. If not, let us know and we will help.

It looks as though I will need to resize, as my test re-post was also huge. What size is preferred?

I have now resized my source files on Photobucket, using the last standard size listed on that editing screen.

Your close up of the mexican lasagna is great! The light shining on the melted cheese is wonderful What a great idea to divide the recipe in three.

The size most of us use from Photobucket is the message board size - about 640 x 480 or so. Some use the next smaller one. Try both and see which you like.

You're off to a great start posting food photos and I hope we see many more of yours!
