Barbecued Pork Spareribs

My Mother passed away this past May and I'm posting as many recipes as I can find from her for safe keeping. All her recipes are handwritten so its time to get them in a safe place. So here's another one of our family favorites that my mom made while growing up. These are easy to prepare and cook in the oven. They have a nice flavor more savory then smoky. They come out of the oven nice and tender. YUM, I haven't made these in years I think its time!

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In a baking pan place the spareribs curved side up Top with the onion slices and salt and pepper to taste.

    In a medium sized bowl mix together ketchup, Worcestershire, chili powder and water.

    Pour the mixture over the ribs. Cover the pan with foil.

    Bake for 2 hours.
