This makes a great, easy dessert that can be changed to use any fruit. Bananas are great, but strawberries and bananas are even better! And it's a nice change from Vanilla Wafers.

SERVES 9 , 1 8 by 8 inch dish (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Line the bottom of a 8 by 8 inch dish with about half the bag of cookies and layer bananas on top. The other half of the cookies will go on top later.
  2. 2
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix well until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture gently. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

We enjoy eating all kinds of puddings around here, & the homemade ones are the best by far, as is this particular one ~ GREAT TASTING BANANA PUDDING! And, I suspect what made it so wonderful for me, at least, was the combo of cream cheese & condensed milk! Thanks for a great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in New Kids on the Block]
