    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first five ingredients in a large bowl. Beat with mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add egg and beat well. Weigh lightly spooned flour into dry measuring cups. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt in medium bowl, stirring with a wisk. Add flour mixture to banana mixture in bowl. Beat with a mixer at medium speed until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons, two inches apart on baking sheets which are coated with cooking spray. Bake for about 18 minutes until golden. Cool on pans two minutes. Remove cookies from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
