Awesome Chunky Applesauce

I brought a bag of small gala apples home to discover most of them were bruised, this applesauce put them to great use! The amount of stirring at the end tends to determine the chunkiness of the applesauce.

SERVES 6 , 4 cups (change servings and units)

    Peel, core and slice the apples.

    Place the apples and water in a saucepan, cover and bring to a boil over medium heat.

    Cook the apples over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add the splenda and cinnamon, stir until completely dissolved.

    Serve and enjoy!
