These were surprisingly good. I've only eaten turnips raw with a little salt so this was a nice surprise.

Nice alternative to french fries. I happened to have some duck fat on hand, so used it 50/50 with the olive oil - outstanding.

I think I like this better than any other method of cooking turnip that I've tried! The chili flavour really complements the turnip especially when served with a bit of sour cream to dip the fries into. Very, very tasty. You are not going to mistake these for french fries, but as a way of cooking turnip it is excellent.
