I have been looking for a really good breakfast bread. I made the bread using the original recipe and it was very good. On the next try - I added 2 tbs of flaxseed, used grape seed oil instead of butter and added ground walnuts to make it the greatest breakfast bread ever. thanks so much.

Delicious bread! I used a chunky homemade apple sauce and a splash of butterscotch schnapps, otherwise made as stated. The bread has a lovely soft texture and a subtle sweet apple flavour. This is a keeper! Thanks Heaven Bound! Made for PAC Fall 2009.
