Applebees Maple Walnut Blondies

These taste just like the decadent dessert served at the applebee's chain

SERVES 8 , 8 blondies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. 2
    whip the egg until they form stiff peaks.
  3. 3
    add softened butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla and beat with an electric mixer.
  4. 4
    in a seperate bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  5. 5
    add teh dry ingriedeints to the wet and blend until smooth.
  6. 6
    mix in milk, chocolate and walnuts.
  7. 7
    pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 40 minutes.

    slice into 8 slices when cool.

    while cakes bakes combine1/2 cup butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese and maple syrup and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a bowl and beat with mixer.

    heat a mini cast iron skillet on stove for 5 minutesarrange teh cake on each mini skillet heat sauce for 30 seconds and place a scoop of ice cream on cake and then pour over sauce garnish with walnuts.

Made this last night and everyone loved it. My son thought it was better than Applebees! I thought it was pretty easy and very tasty. Thanks will definitely be making this again.
