Annz California Fuzion Pizza

Recipe #393111 | 30 min | 15 min prep | add private note

We had Gen Pao's chicken (http://www.recipezaar.com/general-paos-chicken-388333) for dinner last night, but my kids wouldn't touch it so we had a bunch leftover. I decided to blend the sweet oriental chicken flavor with pesto, blue cheese, sweet onion, roasted peppers, and fresh tomato from the garden on a pizza--and the combination of flavors was spectacular! I used the New York style pizza crust recipe (http://www.recipezaar.com/New-York-Style-Pizza-Crust-15194), but you can substitute any good pizza crust. I'm sure you could use other leftover oriental chicken in place of the Gen Pao's chicken and it would turn out just as well. I'm guessing on the amounts of things because I really didn't measure out the ingredients, so feel free to adjust the amounts to your liking.

SERVES 4 , 1 pizza (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. 2
Spread a thin layer of pesto over the entire pizza crust.
  3. 3
Sprinkle with chicken, onion, and roasted peppers.
  4. 4
Sprinkle lightly with blue cheese crumbles, then with most of the shredded cheese.
  5. 5
Top with chopped tomatoes and the remaining cheese.
  6. 6
Bake at 450 on a pizza stone for 10 - 15 mins or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
