Amazing Brownies

These brownies taste like chocolate Madeleine cookies--they are just wonderful, and can be served as brownies or as cupcakes. Not only that, you only need two pans to make them: the pot in which the butter is melted, and the pan into which you pour the batter.

SERVES 12 -24 , 24 Smallish Brownies (change servings and units)

    Heat oven to 350* F.

    Melt the butter in a medium-large pan.
  3. 3
    Let cool slightly; then mix in the ingredients in the order given.

    Bake in either a greased brownie pan or a lined muffin pan.

    Bake for 35-45 minutes, checking after 30 minutes.

    The brownies are done when a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
