The Story

Recipezaar was started as a labor of fun for a couple of geeks in Seattle who love to cook but more importantly, love to eat. While we were at it, we'd make it a lot easier to search for recipes, to make something inspiring for dinner with what you have on hand, and just as easy to create a custom shopping list for the recipes you want to make. We are technologists, so we thought we could make the cooking process easier by putting technology behind it. Paging through cookbooks or cooking magazines is fun, as long as you aren't hungry or have food that you have to use tonight! The company is committed to making eating easier: to us that means everything on the road to dinner, including the inspiration and the trip to the store. So, we created Recipezaar as a way to bring folks like us together, to take the hassle out of making good food, and allow any chef to share their creations and family favorites with the world!
