Polish Apple Soup Pronounced [Zhoo-pah zha-blah-kah-vah]

SERVES 65 (change servings and units)

Directions

    Cover 2/3 or apples, quartered, with boiling water and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Rub through a sieve.
  3. 3
    Add cornstarch mixed with 1 tbs. water. Bring to boil.

    Add cinnamon and sugar.

    Remove from the heat.
  6. 6
    Add the rest of the apples, peeled and shredded, add sour cream.

    Serve warm or cold with macaroni or croutons agter the meat course.
