Triscuits are wonderful, little bites of crisp wheat and a bit of a salty bite that lends itself so well this zesty tomato "bit of heaven" topping. I halved this recipe easily and used all the ingredients and directions right to a tee. We are lucky to have an abundance of green onion growing, so I followed suit and used these. A wonderful compliment to the cream cheese, mozzarella, and tomato. I might add a bit of fresh parsley bits to the top when serving them for guests, but since it was just the family, they didn't need this. Perfect, easy, and so tasty you will be hunting down that tomato in garden. Made for Flower Power May 2009.

I liked this but DH didn't like the taste. He was sure I used mayonnaise but no. I omitted the green onion because of him. I heated the cheeses like 2Bleu did. I used orange cheddar. Thanks Starrynews.

What a yummy snack I had today, thanks to this recipe. I love triscuits for snacking and this gives me another alternative for when I want something a little more. The flavors of cream cheese, tomato, green onion and Italian dressing meld so well together. Next time, I may try heating the topping in the microwave (as 2bleu did) and serve it as a dip! Thanks!

What a great snack and so easy to make! I don't care for onions so used green pepper instead. The Italian dressing was a great seasoning for this. I served on top of big Wheat Thin crackers and really enjoyed - thanks for sharing the recipe!
