Yummy Pancakes

This is a simple recipe and a yummy one also. Anybody can do it. I got this recipe from my mom a long time ago and have been using it for years.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Melt butter.
  2. 2
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  3. 3
    Beat together melted butter and eggs and pour in to the milk.
  4. 4
    Stir wet ingredients into dry mix until combined.
  5. 5
    Lumpy batter is ok.
  6. 6
    Heat large pan or griddle to medium heat.
  7. 7
    Brush pan or griddle with oil or butter.
  8. 8
    Pour batter into pan 1/4 cup per pancake.
  9. 9
    Cook till bubbles form on top; flip and let cook till golden brown.
  10. 10
    Repeat with remaining batter.

The title says it all "Yummy Pancakes". Enjoyed the flavor of the cinnamon, a new twist of any pancake that I had made. Thanks for posting a great recipe.

    These were nice and light. I accidentally added more cinnamon, than the recipe called for, but it wasn't a mistake because they tasted great! Thanks for sharing your reicpe Chef 185065!

    My family loved these pancakes, and this is the way I'll be making them from now on! The cinnamon made them very tasty. My DD came back for seconds...and thirds! Applesauce is a great accompaniment to these pancakes, as it pairs nicely with the cinnamon. Be careful not to overmix the batter, to ensure the pancakes turn out tender. These rose nicely, and made a hearty breakfast! Thanks!

    Wow! These were not only quick and easy to prepare, they were lovely, light and luscious! Why would anyone ever use a mix? Thanks for sharing these wonderful pancakes.
