Really, really good! I did add another quart of liquid (used 2 qts. chicken broth and 1 qt. water and a few buillion cubes) and I also added a bag of frozen peas and carrots as well as some chopped onion. Didn't add the sour cream (shocker - I LOVE sour cream!) but the soup was so wonderfully thick on its own so I didn't feel it needed it. Next time I'll add the sour cream and experience it all the way! I'll be making this often! Thanks!

Wow so much flavor and so easy to make. Even my son-in-law loved it. I added frozen peas because I love peas and pasta. Thanks for the recipe. Will be forwarding this to all my friends.

My husband is sick and I needed a quick chicken noodle soup because I was short on time. After making this I am not sure I would ever bother doing it the long and hard way again. I also used an already made rotisserie chicken. I added an extra cup of broth and slightly less than 12 oz. of noodles. I added a little celery salt, a little thyme and some frozen peas in the end. It was really wonderful, thank you so much for posting.

I always have cooked chicken in the freezer and it made this soup even easier to make. This soup really hit the spot for us. Loved the flavor, especially with the addition of the cream of chicken soup. This is a keeper and I will be making it many times. Thanks Colorboyswife for a great recipe.
