These are so cute! Thought they might be a fun for everyone this Halloween!

SERVES 32 , 32 cookies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 32 Hershey's chocolate kisses, unwrapped

  • 1 (11 1/2 ounce) package fudge-striped shortbread cookies (32)

  • 1 (4 1/4 ounce) container orange decorating icing or red decorating icing

Directions

  1. 1
    Attach 1 Kiss to chocolate bottom of each cookie, using decorating icing.
  2. 2
    Pipe decorating icing around base of chocolate.

These looked cute at my 2 year old daughter's class party. Doesn't get any easier, either! I think I may use purple icing next time. The only thing I noticed was they got stale very quickly. I haven't noticed those cookies getting stale that quickly before. Thanks for the fun idea, elliebelle!

    Great recipe! Easy, fast and look so darn cute! I will make these again, they were adorable on my halloween cookie trays. Thank you for sharing this with us.

    Super easy and quite fun! I found this recipe on the Betty Crocker site and decided to make it for a Halloween party. Luckily, the cookies went on sale today! Only problem is that they do not stack on a serving plate so can be space-eaters.
