BEAUTIFUL LOAF, easy to prepare, tastiest sweet bread I've found. Will use again and again with orange butter spread. Using for party this afternoon. THANKS FOR A 4 THUMBS UP RECIPE.

So-so bread. My kids turned their noses up at it and they're usually just fine with all the whole wheat stuff I feed them. Won't be keeping this one. Sorry!

This is a tasty, very pretty snack bread, or really something more approaching a coffee cake (perfect with a cup of Darjeeling tea in my opinion). My husband and a breakfast guest enjoyed it as well. I used 1 TBS orange zest and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts; 3/4 cup fresh orange juice equalled the juice of two oranges. I baked this in a long narrow loaf pan; it was done in around 50 minutes, so watch baking time depending on the size of your pan.

This was wonderful! I used all whole wheat pastry flour and milled cane sugar instead of regular white. I omitted the nuts and used a little less orange zest because my orange was not cooperating and I got frustrated! We had it for dessert with a smidge of butter and the kids loved it too. I will definitely make again (maybe tomorrow!).
