Wellington Slush(Non Alcoholic)

Recipe #262661 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

Originally served with rum, it's so good without! I believe this was created in the bar at the Wellington Hotel in England, but can't prove it! Adapted from a kiwi site.

SERVES 2 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar, to taste
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 kiwi fruits

Directions

  1. 1
Add pineapple, orange juice, and sugar to a blender. Blend to mix well.
  2. 2
Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  3. 3
Slice kiwifruit into halves and spoon fruit into the existing mixture.
  4. 4
Pulse until just blended, taking care not to crush the kiwifruit seeds.
  5. 5
Pour into two serving glasses. Serve and enjoy!

this is wonderful. I made one serve because it was just for me now i wish i had 2 kiwi fruits to make 2 serves because i would have drunk both of them. I will be making this one again on my alcohol free nights its just like drinking a cocktail. Maybe you could even add some vodka and make it alcoholic. Made for Edition 3 Make My Recipe in the Aust/NZ forum.
