Weight Watchers Low Fat Taco Soup

Recipe #157732 | 1¼ hours | 10 min prep | add private note

By: MilanzMom
Feb 27, 2006

This soup is great and super easy to make! There are three (3) points for 1 cup of soup. If you add baked chips, add two (2) extra points for nine (9) chips. (I was given these point values from someone who attends Weight Watchers. If you see a discrepancy, please let me know in the review so I can make sure my information is accurate.)

This soup was really really good. My entire family loved it and asked for seconds. The only change in the recipe I made was to add medium heat chilli beans instead of hot so that my little ones could eat it. I also added a small amount of reduced fat shredded "taco blend" cheese as a topper. Will deffinetly make again.

This is a high sodium dish. I recommend that you use the sodium reduced taco seasoning mix, and use frozen corn and any other sodium reduced products available. It will still be plenty salty.

This was a very simple and surprisingly hearty meal. I appreciated that it was mild enough to feed the kids as well. When I entered the recipe into the WW web site's recipe builder, it came out at 3 points per serving. Thanks for sharing this one!
