Enliven your taste buds with this cool and refreshing drink. A great dessert. You can sub the sherbert for ice cream. You can use coconut milk instead of rum if your are not into booze.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Directions

    Place watermelon, berries, lemon juice, sherbet,rum, and ice in a blender.

    Blend until smooth.

    Pour into glasses garnished with a watermelon wedges.

I scaled this down to 2 delicious servings for my DH and myself and also subbed strawberries for the raspberries (none available). This was a super tropical treat, and the Malibu Rum gave it a nice edge.

    What a nice drink was what everyone said. And then they all asked for the receipe. Not sweet and so refreshing... we made it our frosty maker. Thanks rita

    so sweet and refreshing! this makes a great smoothie , and since the alcohol is so minimal it can easily be omitted to serve to kids. mine loved this, thanks rita

    I did not have frozen raspberries. I used frozen cranberries, which might account for more tartness. It was very good and refreshing. Made the non-alcohol version. Used about 1/2 cup of ice cubes and alas no watermelon wedge to garnish. So I used a fat juicy strawberry. Thanks.
