Wow! What a delicious warm salad! I made this as written, just cut the olive oil to 3 tbsp total. It's got nice bold flavor, without too much heat. Definitely not a boring salad. Thanx for sharing!

Wow this was really yummy. What a nice salad idea. I didn't have powdered ginger by itself by I used a ginger mixed mideast spice and added some shredded carrots that I had to use up and it came out really good me and my hubby both enjoyed. When I first tagged this I didn't realize it was a "warm" salad and that makes all the difference. I think you have to put it in the title

One Word - AMAZING! This Salad is so simple, basically just chickpeas and red onion, marinated in olive oil. But it tastes amazing. Unbelievably healthy as well! I will definately be making this again.
