Vodka slush

Wonderful summer drink, very refreshing and easy to mix up since most of it is done ahead of time. You can also substitute 2 c vodka and 2 1/2 c of water for a little stronger drink.

SERVES 20 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice

  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 cup strong tea (anykind will do)
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 7-Up soda

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix together, then freeze.
  2. 2
    When ready to use, fill collins glass half full with slush then add 7-up to fill.
  3. 3
    Garnish with a orange slice and cherry.

    This is really good!! I used Crystal Light Peach tea and it was really tasty. I will definately make this again.

    This is a staple at a family friend's holiday party...except we use bourbon and add some food coloring!! So good!!

    This was a hit with everyone. I wasn't too sure about the tea. But this makes for a great tasting summer drink. Love the fact that it can be made ahead of time. At happy hour, it was ready to go. Garnished with a cherry, we had a great drink that looked pretty too. We sat under a Tiki Bar in Islamorada. . . ahhh, live is good.
