My BF got badly sunburned a while back and this remedy was the ONLY thing that did anything for his discomfort and that horrible "deep itch" he complained about most... I chose to use Braggs ACV... and I did add in a few drops of lavender essential oil to help with the healing process and shook this mixture up in a clean spray bottle. A few spritzes of this "miracle" spray brought much relief to my poor, poor baby! Thanks so much for posting a great all natural cure to sunburn!!!

When I was a kid, I didn't burn much. However, while visiting my Russian grandmother, mys sisters and I obtained quite a burn. My grandmother's remedy - vinegar! I know it worked - I can still remember the smell!

We used this all the time when I was a kid. We'd be out in the sun to long, get burnt and mom would tell us to go get the vinegar. They say vinegar is good for many things. I remember reading you want to use white vinegar on clothes, mattress, etc. and cider vinegar for all other things, like your hair.

It really works. Even more to reduce a moderate fever you can soak a towel in a mixture of cider vinegar and water and wrap it around your legs and the fever goes down!
