Just perfect. That's all there is to it. From Vegetarian Times. (Doubles, triples, etc.)

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soymilk (vanilla, regular, ricemilk, whatever- even unsweetened is good)
  • 2-3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons warm water

Directions

  1. 1
Heat milk in the microwave (or on stove). Get it just a little hotter than drinkable. Stirring once or twice is a good idea.
  2. 2
Stir the cocoa and sugar into the warm water in a small container to dissolve sugar. Pour this into the mug of hot milk. Enjoy after skating, sliding, or a frosty white walk!

DELICIOUS! I used vanilla soymilk, which made it so creamy and rich. Perfect for a snowy winter afternoon! Thanks!

I love soymilk, and I love chocolate, plus cocoa powder. Geeze, there is nothing I don't love about this wonderful treat this very cold day on the farm. I used vanilla soymilk (light) and a dash of Splenda. Topped with a bit of SoyWhip cream and I was set. This is really wonderful, doubling as easy as a chill in the winter. Augh this warms the heart, fills the stomach, and brings warmth to your life. Thanks so much White Rose Child!

Wonderful chocolate fix that remains on the healthy side. I used plain soymilk, Splenda and added a couple of drops of peppermint extract. It really hit the spot on this cool, feeling like Autumn morning. Surely this will be made again. Thank you for posting this.
