Made this up when my grandmother was vegetarian for the day (beats me), and its good.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Heat oil in a large pan.
  2. 2
    Sautee onions and garlic till limp.
  3. 3
    Add in mushrooms and frozen vegetables.
  4. 4
    Cook till vegetables are no longer cold and have warmed through.
  5. 5
    Add in turmeric and mix well.
  6. 6
    Toss in rice and break up any clumps.
  7. 7
    Add light soy sauce in and toss till well incorporated.
  8. 8
    Serve.

    This is a great use for leftover rice and is well seasoned. It turned out great, even when it turned out all I had on hand were alfalfa sprouts...lol.
