This Lovely Valentine red color oatmeal is so heart healthy. Making this is very Heart healthy great for keeping you Loving For a long time! Juices high in vitamin C with your oatmeal elevates your breakfast to a super-food! The nutrients in oatmeal and cranberry juive and dried cranberries work synergistically to provide double the benefits. The phenols in oatmeal and the vitamin C in the juice both help make LDL more stable. The more stable your LDL, the less likely it is to rupture, stick to artery walls and cause heart attacks. So reduce your cholesterol! With this excellent source of fiber and good source of potassium and Omega-3. Low in sodium. Optional Dairy free making it good for lactose intolerant!

I have oatmeal for breakfast most mornings. So, it is always nice to have a different way to make it. I enjoyed this version and liked that if the honey was skipped, it was a vegan friendly way to have oats without them being boring. I did have to add some more oats for it not to overly thin. However, I do like a thicker oatmeal so that could just have been me. I sprinkled some extra dried cranberries on top. Made for vegetarian tag.

Rita this is really great! Tagged for Cupid's Choice 2009. I am sitting here typing, picture taking, and eating all at once. LOL I love the sweet and tart flavors together. I would never think to use cranberry juice in oatmeal but WOW what a winner. Now I have another fruit serving added to my day. I did not add honey as it was great as is, did throw in a few strawberries for garnish. Thank you, Connie pictures added
