This a very easy recipe. Everyone loves it. Tastes cool and creamy on a warm day and doesn't heat up the kitchen!

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) box Hostess Twinkies

  • 1 (5 ounce) package banana instant pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2-3 bananas (sliced)

  • 1 (2 5/8 ounce) box dream whip whipped dessert topping mix (has 2 envelopes of topping 1.3 ounce each)

Directions

  1. 1
Split Twinkies lengthwise and lay in 9x13 pan (should use whole box).
  2. 2
Prepare instant pudding with 1 1/2 cups milk.
  3. 3
Lay sliced bananas over Twinkies in pan and pour pudding over bananas.
  4. 4

It was the bomb and it was yummy. Easy and delicious who could ask for anything more? It is going on my regular list. I used cool whip instead of the dreamy stuff.Thanks.

GREAT, EASY recipe. I chopped the Twinkies into "chunks", layered the bananas, added the banana cream pudding, THEN thought about it and added a box of cheesecake pudding. Then topped with Cool Whip. Made for a family reunion and they DEVOURED it and requested more! Also, daughter made a second batch and used french vanilla pudding on top of the banana. IT WAS JUST AS GREAT!

This was AWESOME!!!! I make a dessert for my dad once a month and he told me to make this one every month!! The only change I made was I added a bunch of coconut to the whipped topping. Made it a banana/coconut cream concoction! Yummy!!!!
