Turmeric Rice With Nuts and Crispy Onions

Easy one pot recipe and makes a great change from plain rice. The onion crispies can be found in supermarkets usually with the salad dressings.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    put the rice, turmeric and stock into a large shallow pan.

    Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes or until the stock has gone.
  3. 3
    Remove from heat, stir and cover.
  4. 4
    Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  5. 5
    Fluff rice, season and top with the cashews and onions.
