Yes, I know that it sounds vile, but try it--it really is quite yummy. Everybody that I have made try it agrees with me! For all of you non-Brits out there..Bramston Pickle is a combination of various vegetables in small chunks pickled in a sweet brown sauce.

3 slices (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Drain the tuna and mash well with the mayo until it is really soft.
  2. 2
Toast the bread on one side. Turn the bread over and on the untoasted side spread the tuna. Place drops of the Branston on top of the tuna and cover with the cheese.
  3. 3
Place under a grill until the cheese has melted. Mind that you don't burn your mouth on the hot pickle.

I had this for dinner last night and it was so good. I used light bread to help with calories as well as light mayo. Thanks for an easy and yummy dinner. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.

This was great for a fast dinner. And it was delicious. Even DS loved it and ate it all without any problem or arguing. Very kid friendly (but he didn't want the pickle). We loved it with the pickle (the one I used was sweet, it was another brand). I used light mayonnaise. Thanks Noo. Made for 123 hit wonders
