Quick and easy, this one always pleases the whole family! (And it's good for them too!)

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Boil KD until noodles are done. Strain, rinse with hot water.
  2. 2
Transfer noodles back into pot on low heat. Add 2 Tbsp margarine, stir to melt.
  3. 3
    Add 1/2 cup milk.
  4. 4
Slowly add powdered cheese mixture while stirring and add remaining milk as needed. Mixture should be creamy with no clumps and you should have a somewhat loose sauce in the pot to make sure to cover other ingredients.
  5. 5
    Stir in parsley and garlic.
  6. 6
Break up tuna chunks while adding to mixture and fold together. Ready to serve.

I used only 1/2 tsp garlic powder, as I thought the full strength would be too much for my son. He ate 2 bowls! "Tuna Tuesday" is definitely going into heavy rotation at my house. Thanks for the posting!

Made this for a quick dinner the other night when I wasn't sure when my kid would be getting home. After I whipped it up, I put it in a greased casserole dish, sprnkled a little Parmesan and shredded cheddar cheese on it and put it in the oven on low heat. Turned out great, and the kid loved it, since she loves tuna and mac & cheese. We liked it too. Thanks for a quick, easy, and tasty recipe.

Yum! This one gets 5 stars for its combination of easy prep (about 20 minutes!) and yumminess. I only added about 1/2 t of garlic, but I'm glad it was in there as it really added a nice touch. I also added about 3 c frozen broccoli when boiling the noodles. This will definitely be a "go to" recipe for us. Thanks for posting!!
