    In medium bowl, crumble tofu. Add mayonnaise, celery and scallion if using and stir until well combined.

    Stuff mixture into warmed pita bread halves and serve.

    Excellent sandwich! I added the chopped pickles and a teaspoon of brown mustard. Thanks for an easy, tasty recipe.

    This was really good. I was going to replace the scallion with pickles (that's how I like tuna salad) but then I thought that soy sauce-marinated tofu might not go so well with pickles and decided to obey the recipe. I'm glad I did, it was really good just the way it's written. Reviewed for Pick-A-Chef
