I found that these are a great way to get a bit more fish into our diet, plus they taste great. And by not frying the fish, these are pretty healthy, depending on your toppings.

8 tacos (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Toppings (optional)

Directions

  1. 1
In a nonstick pan, heat over medium high heat the oil and then add the tilapia.
  2. 2
Season with half the lime juice, salt, cumin and southwest seasoning.
  3. 3
Once that side is cooked, flip and season, cooking till golden.
  4. 4
Heat a small pan over medium heat and then spray with cooking spray. Add tortilla, cooking and heating both sides.
  5. 5
Fill tortilla with a portion of fish and then top with desired toppings.

Fast and delicious. Instead of cumin and southwest seasoning, I seasoned with Tony's Creole Seasoning, a few red pepper flaske and lime juice. It was GREAT. To make it healthier I used whole wheat tortiallas and diced avocado and mango as a relish (instead of the sour cream and/or cheese). Thanks for posting!
