When I read the ingredients I was concerned...but curious enough I need to try this! It is wonderful! I never would have guess that cheese and pineapple would go so nicely together! I really liked the taste of the pineapple when it's hot/warm...I've only had cold pineapple before. This is a great casserole! It was so simple to make too. It made a nice side dish to our supper last night. Thanks so much for sharing!

VERY DIFFERENT, VERY TASTY! We really enjoyed this warm fruity casserole, & the pineapple/cheese combo was wonderful! I used a mild cheddar which, I think, went best with the pineapple, & I took AuntSana's suggestion & included all the pineapple juice! Will definitely make this one again, & thanks for sharing the recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in the current current Adopt-A-Tag 2009]

I really love pineapple casseroles. As I was making this, I was a little concerned, because I didn't think the margarine was enough liquid. In fact, I added a little of the drained pineapple juice with the margarine. I'm glad I did, although IMO, it could have used all of the juice. Still, the taste was excellent. Thnx for posting your recipe, weekend cooker. Made for Adopt a Tag 2009.
