I never liked the relish in traditional style dressings, so I tried this recipe w/o the relish and it is PERFECT! I use on ruebens. Never buy from store again!

I forgot to rate this recipe but I've been making it since last year and I just love it.

Was looking for a salad dressing recipe that didn't contain oil since I didn't have any on hand. After making this the first time, I decided I needed to double the recipe. Made recipe as stated the first time. Have also made it using dried minced onion from the spice rack. (Onions will soften-rehydrate as dressing chills). Thanks for posting!

Loves this! Went to serve a soup and salad dinner and found I had hardly any dressing. I mixed the sugar and the vinegar first- this make it disolve quickly- mixed the rest and it was good to go! Thanks for posting, I won't be buying thousand dressing again.
