My husband's Aunt Kathy made this for one of our family meals and I was so impressed that I begged for the recipe! This is not your average jello salad-it's much much better! Not only does it taste wonderful but it is pretty. Appropriate for every day but beautiful enough for a holiday meal.

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

  1. 1
Add pineapple and enough water to make 2 cups to a saucepan and heat to boil.
  2. 2

Add cold water and pie filling. Stir well.
  4. 4

NICE, NICE! Everytime I see a jello recipe (or eat jello concoctions) I think of my mom who was always making it one way or another! So, I had to try this one, & it was well worth the small effort! I enjoyed the addition of the pie filling & cream cheese, & it all makes a jello dish worth making again! Many thanks for posting the recipe!
