This soup was delicious! I used a whole chicken and the broth from that. I also added 1/2 cup of celery finely chopped and a red and green bell pepper cut in strips to the soup...I garnished with cheese, chips, avocado, and fresh cilantro. It was a huge hit. My family loved it so much...this will definitely be something we will make a lot!

I have looked high and low for a tortilla soup recipe that lights my fire. This is the one. The best of the best as far as I'm concerned. I also used rotisserie chicken mainly because I was short on time. The seasonings are awesome. My husband and I tossed a coin to see who gets to take the left-overs for lunch tomorrow. I won. Thanks LorenLou.

If I could, this would get a thousand stars. This was SO good, my family went nuts over it and demanded it goes on our Mexican favorites list. I made this as is, the only thing I did different was to use a store-bought rotisserie chicken in place of the 4 cooked chicken breast halves. If you like Southwest/Mexican food, you must try this, it's awesome. Thanks so much LorenLou for the new addition to my family!
