Here's tried and true Texas recipe posted in response to a forum request. This also works well in a crockpot.

1 gallon (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Brown sausage, ground beef, and onion then drain off grease.

    Add tomatoes and chilies.
  3. 3
    Cut Velveeta into chunks and add to meat mixture.
  4. 4
    Cook on low heat until cheese melts.
  5. 5
    Add undiluted soup and mix well.
  6. 6
    Serve hot.
