Tasty Turkey Burgers

Recipe #20731 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

My favorite recipe for turkey burgers. Just enough seasonings to make them so much tastier than just plain old turkey burgers, plus the bread crumbs and other added ingredients "bulk up" the turkey, helping you to get more bang for your buck. I always have a few of these in the freezer for summer barbecues when I don't care to eat beef hamburgers (I have been known to tote one or two of these along with me to family barbecues to throw on the grill whenever I know that beef burgers are going to be the only main dish)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
  2. 2
    Shape into 6 patties.
  3. 3
Pan-fry, broil, or grill until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. 4
Serve in hamburger buns with desired toppings.
  5. 5
My fave toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and fat-free/light mayo.

I hate to rain on the party, but I didn't like this at all. I cut the recipe in half and made two burgers out of it, and it tasted like a bunch of jumbled mystery burger.

These were very good and tasty, as described. I did add a tsp. of olive oil as suggested and found them to be very moist. My DH and I really enjoyed them, though 2 out of 3 of my young kids did not. I made Homemade Hamburger Buns (Bread Machine) for homemade hamburger buns and served them with sauteed onions and mushrooms - delish!

I really liked this recipe. The only thing I would change is to add a tsp of olive oilas I find it keeps the turkey really moist. Thanks for posting.

These were fabulous! The worcestershire and soy sauce gave them a very meaty taste that I find somewhat lacking in other Turkey burgers. Our non red-meat eating guest loved them and said they were very moist and flavorful! Thanks for sharing.
