This mixture is just as good if not better then those little packets you get when you buy cut flower. Add this to you home grown cut flowers to enjoy indoors.

1 bouquet (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Add all ingredients to a vase 3/4 full of water. Mix to blend.
  2. 2
Add fresh cut flowers (best cut under running water so no air gets into stem) to water making sure no leaves are in the water.

I used this for some daffodils and it worked nicely. I'm not sure exactly how much longer these lasted than they would have without, but my flowers lasted about 5 days. Thanks Rita!

Thanks for posting this. My wife loves fresh flowers and this is a good way to keep them around for a few extra days.

I used these on Daffodils too, and they were brilliant~ and stayed much longer then without. I will always use this now, as I love cut flowers around and this just makes life so much nicer. I doubled the recipe for a couple of vases and I was very, very pleased with the results~ Thank you Rita for another winning recipe!
